Walking with families through grief - one step at a time.

The Kinsey Wright Foundation exists to walk alongside families as they navigate the loss of a child or sibling. Through counseling navigation, care coordination, and needs-based financial assistance, we remove barriers to support and ensure no one walks through grief alone. Rooted in faith and love, we seek to bring light into the darkest moments, offering hope, healing, and strength as families take each step toward restoration.
Our core programming includes:
- Grief counseling navigation, where the Foundation actively assists individuals in identifying appropriate, vetted grief counselors and support resources.
- Care coordination and oversight, ensuring services align with the specific needs of each individual or family.
- Needs-based financial assistance, provided on a limited, case-by-case basis, to remove financial barriers to accessing grief counseling services.
- Through lived experience, we walk alongside grieving families to provide a safe space built around love, empathy, hope, and compassionate support through the darkest moments.

On October 17, 2023, Kinsey was involved in a car accident on her way to soccer practice. Her time here on Earth was far too short, but her impact will be felt forever. Kinsey lived big in everything she did. Her light shined brightly her whole life because she understood who God created her to be and the purpose for which He created her.
Kinsey was a goalkeeper by position—faithfully guarding her team’s net—but she was also a Spiritual Guardian by calling, living out a greater and eternal purpose.
She changed lives through the way she loved her family, friends, and teammates, and through the way she lived with joy, courage, and authenticity. Most of all, Kinsey changed lives by boldly living out her faith. Kinsey TRUSTED GOD.
She wore that statement of faith on her custom cleats, but more importantly, she wore it on her heart.

When we lost Kinsey, the world did not stop—but ours did. In the midst of trying to survive each day without her, we were also faced with the overwhelming task of finding grief counseling. Phone calls went unanswered. Appointments were made with counselors who were not the right fit. Insurance hurdles added frustration to an already unbearable season. Finding help should not be this hard—especially when a family is grieving.
The Kinsey Wright Foundation exists to lift that burden. We help grieving parents and siblings find trusted, professional grief counselors and walk with them through the process so they don’t have to navigate it alone. By removing barriers and providing guidance and financial support when needed, we allow families to focus on healing rather than logistics.
Our heart is simple: to take this weight off their plate so they can move forward with the support, care, and compassion they deserve.
